IEE will not begin an evaluation before the application, all required documentation, English translation (if necessary), and payment have been received.

After application, all documentation, English translation (if necessary), and payment have been received IEE evaluations take approximately 3 business days to complete in our office. If translation is needed, the evaluation time frame is extended by 2 business days. If an evaluation is needed more quickly than that, a non-refundable expedited service must be ordered.

By agreeing to these terms and making the purchase, you authorize IEE to contact your home institution(s) regarding your academic credentials and study. IEE may need to do this should further information on your qualification/program be required or should an attestation of document authenticity be required. This includes but is not limited to original documentation, attested copies in stamped, sealed envelope.

IEE evaluation reports are not accepted by every institution in the United States or Canada. It is your responsibility to verify that the institution you listed as a recipient for IEE to send your evaluation to does, in fact, accept IEE evaluations.

It is your responsibility to review the Documentation Requirements on our website and submit all necessary educational documents based on where you studied. IEE cannot prepare an evaluation report until we receive all the documentation necessary.

IEE may request additional verification for any credential that you provide. This verification may be deemed necessary at any point during the evaluation process. This may cause your evaluation to be delayed beyond the expected due date while IEE contacts your issuing institution. IEE charges a standard verification fee on all applications where documents are not received directly from the issuing institutions, but if additional verification resources are needed to complete an evaluation, IEE reserves the right or requesting additional fees to complete the verification. Verification fees can be avoided by requesting that the issuing institution submits documentation directly to IEE.

IEE evaluators may request additional documentation from you at any point during the evaluation service. This may cause your evaluation to be delayed beyond the expected due date. Expedited service evaluations may be subject to delay, due to verification or the need for additional documentation.

If you mail original academic documents, IEE will be return them via the shipping method you select on the application. IEE is not responsible for packages and their contents once they leave our office with a delivery service. IEE is not liable for documents lost or damaged once they leave IEE’s office. All academic transcripts and records that IEE receives directly from any foreign institution are the property of IEE and will not be sent to you.

You are paying IEE for a professional opinion regarding your foreign academic qualifications. If you do not agree with the final outcome of the evaluation, you will not be refunded for the service. IEE evaluation reports are advisory in nature and are not legally binding on any agency or institution in the United States. At the time of issue, IEE reports reflect the current models and best practices in the field of applied comparative education.

All evaluation prices include a $75 non-refundable application fee. Additionally, since expedited orders are prioritized and begin processing immediately, expedited service fees are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your evaluation, IEE will refund all fees that were paid, less a $75 non-refundable application fee, less any shipping fee required for returning your original documents, less any expedited service fee you selected on your application. If any part of your service has been completed when you request a cancellation, you will not be refunded for that completed service. IEE will not issue a refund should you not agree with the results of the final evaluation or if your evaluation is not accepted by your US university, licensing board, employer, or other institution. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm with the institution that IEE evaluations will be accepted. Partial refunds will only be considered in the event an evaluation is unable to be completed. No completed evaluations will be eligible for refund in any circumstance.

Should you have any questions or concerns about your evaluation, please submit an email to IEE for review. IEE will review the written inquiry but cannot guarantee a revision of the evaluation. Any revision that is approved may be subject to an additional fee. If there are any errors or irregularities in the evaluation report that IEE issued, clients will have 6 months to report the issue to IEE. Any errors reported after the 6 months period will be treated as a revision and require such fee.

IEE does not keep open applications indefinitely. Applications which are submitted to IEE and are not completed within 1 year will be cancelled. If you cannot provide the required documentation to complete your order, it will expire after 1 year and no refund will be issued.

If you submit fraudulent or altered academic records for an active or expired order, lEE will not return them to you. No refund will be issued. No report will be prepared. IEE is obligated to share your name, date of birth, country, and institution name with all other NACES members in the event of confirmed fraud.

In some cases, lEE may also be required to alert the institution receiving your evaluation if fraudulent documents were received.

If you submit credentials from a fake school or university (also known as a "diploma mill"), IEE will not return them to you. No refund will be issued. No report will be prepared.

Please note that IEE does not evaluate credentials from organizations that are not authorized or permitted to offer recognized educational programs.

IEE will re-issue an exact copy of the evaluation report or assessment we originally provided. Copies of past evaluation reports and assessments do not include any changes to formatting or updates to language and policy which may have occurred between the date IEE issued the original report at the time when an extra copy is requested. Extra Copies can only be requested for 5 years after the date of the initial report
